Specifying different directories for sty and doc Topic is solved

Hi, Let's say the *.ins and *.dtx files reside in ~/LaTeX/src/skeleton/ How would I modify them to send the sty and doc files respectively to ~/LaTeX/tex/skeleton/ ~/LaTeX/doc/skeleton/ (I assume these would have to be created beforehand) I tinkered with BasedDirectory and usedir but it didn't go an...

Envlab - business envelope? Topic is solved

Hello, the output of the code below is attached. It is not suitable for printing on a standard US envelope (9.5x4.5 in). I guess the option of 'documentclass' has to specify the size of the envelope? \documentclass[12pt]{letter} \usepackage[businessenvelope]{envlab} \makelabels \usepackage{envlab} \...

scrlttr2 - logo placement Topic is solved

How to position the logo (crocodile) in the top right corner? Posts about similar topics suggest a combination of adjustbox and minpage , just not sure which exactly. Please help. \documentclass[ french, paper=A4, version=last, NF, 12pt ]{scrlttr2} \KOMAoptions{ % refline=narrow,%%wide,% nodate,%wid...

What is $LOCALTEXMF under OS X? Topic is solved

I'm trying to put *.bib in a centralized directory under OS X. How do you do that? From reading a few posts on this topic, it appears that $LOCALTEXMF is the place to put it. However, in Mac, this is not defined. Putting glossaries in /Users/my-mac/Library/texmf/tex works, so I thought putting *.bib...

Re: Changing the default build directory Topic is solved

Upon reflection, using a build directory other than pwd is not practical. To convince yourself of it, try with \usepackage{xr}.

Re: Changing the default build directory Topic is solved

Here's an update that - Adresses the "looks suspicious" comment here . - Accomodates bibtex alongside pdflatex. # INSTALL : # copy to a directory in $PATH (say ~/bin) # $ cd ~/bin # $ chmod 755 thisfile.sh # $ mkdir ~/_build # # USAGE: # $ source thisfile.sh # $ echo $TEXTBUILDEXT # Recogn...
