Re: graphics causing errors latex=>Ps => Pdf

Im guessing the problem is using pdf graphics. Seems logical that pdf graphics work fine for PDF output but dont work for ps.

EDIT: Solved. pdf images are the problem (ebviously). Please feel free to call me a n00b, a moron etc. Apologies for wasting your time

graphics causing errors latex=>Ps => Pdf

I'm using Latex=>PS=> PDF in order to be able to use the pstricks package. Works fine for some test documents with just some pstricks drawings and text. However I noticed that documents I normally compile as PDF crashed latex.exe (buffer size exceeded). Inserting just 1 image in a document will rend...

Re: Question about PDF-viewer and Texniccenter

hmmm I noticed I get errors with some other packages and PS output aswell.
Typically using background images/watermarks is rendering errors.

PDF output is fine. Should I then just refrain from using PS? The only benefit I could find is that it generates PStricks drawings.

Re: Question about PDF-viewer and Texniccenter

Thanks. I downloaded LatexDraw which is very convenient for easy drawing. I never use PS because it crashes Latex.exe when compiling (using protext on windows 7 64 bit). It works for trying out some drawings, but random other documents I normally produce as PDF fail as PS (or as DVI). This is the er...

Re: Question about PDF-viewer and Texniccenter

Thank you for your tip, I will look into SumatraPDF aswell. And I will also follow up your advice of not posting simultaneously. Apologies for that.

Last, Why would someone want to make a PS (postscript) output or DVI output in Texniccenter?

Re: Viewing PDF on page I'm working on

That works PERFECTLY! Thank you so much! A tip for setting up pdf exchange as viewer in Texniccenter (for those that dont know this yet): press alt+F7 copy your latex=> PDF profile change in viewer tab path to the pdf exchange viewer executable change checkbox for all three open/close commands to &q...

Viewing PDF on page I'm working on

Hi all, I've posted this in another section aswell, but I'd like to try my luck here: I'm tired of having to browse through my PDF every time, when I make adjustments and pressed compile. I use F5 in Texniccenter to view my pdf. Is there a way/trick to go directly to the page I was making modificati...

Question about PDF-viewer and Texniccenter

I use texniccenter on windows 7, and always make pdf's. Now I'm a bit tired of continuously hitting F5 and having to SCROLL DOWN to view the (minor) changes I've been making. Especially with 20+ page documents this is starting to annoy me. Now my question: Is there a way to get acrobat (or any other...

Re: Auto background picture on every odd (or even) page

This is just what I need. I use a template (with standard dimensions A4) in Photoshop, so I'll be fine with these coordinates. The eso-pic packages also involves a bit trial on error with coordinates so this doesnt make any difference. Last, is there a way to understand the documentation on packages...
