Re: Photo Citations in Tufte class

I am still experiencing difficulty with getting multiple bibliographies in the Tuft class. Glossaries are also causing some problems. Please have a look at the front end code to see if you could recommend any changes that would make this work properly. I am creating my bibliographic database using B...

Re: Photo Citations in Tufte class

Thank you. This is very helpful. From your code, it looks like I can sub-divide the bibliography into subbibliographies, and separate them with different keywords that I use in biblatex citation. I could use a key word for the photo citations, like keyword=photo and notkeyword=photo for all other bi...

Photo Citations in Tufte class

I am working on a book project that has a large number of photos and captions in the margins. I need to give proper attribution (credit) for each photo. I do not want the citations to appear in the margins. Instead I would like to include a Photo Credits section in the backmatter, along with the Bib...

grid.tex QUICK LINKS not showing

I downloaded the grid typesetting package from CTAN, http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/grid and I am having trouble generating the quick links in the top right of the header section. To create a MWE, the following files need to be downloaded from the CTAN archive: grid.sty, grid.t...

Re: Aligned Author Affiliation

You can reduce the font size to 10 or 11 points if the affiliation is long. If it is still too long, it will have to wrap to the next line. The second alignment issue is due to centering. The affiliations will not left align because they are different lengths and centred. It looks better centred on ...

Re: Alignment in Minipages Topic is solved

Thank you. That works very well. I'll study the differences in the code, especially the use of the \useasboundingbox idea to give the same starting point.

Alignment in Minipages Topic is solved

I want the two circuit diagrams to align on the battery V_T , horizontally using minipage. I have the two circuits drawn as I want them using circuitikz. What do I need to do to correct the alignment? \documentclass[12pt,letterpaper,onecolumn]{article} %\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage{amsmat...

Overfull \hbox in URL

I am having some trouble getting url's to hyphenate, to avoid the overfill \hbox situation. Here is an example of a url I have in my .txt file: \url{http://www.who.int/water_sanitation_health/diseases/cholera/en/} I am using \usepackage{url} in the preamble. Font size is 12 point, using the article ...

Symbol Style in Circuits

Can anyone suggest how I can change or modify symbols in circuitikz? I want to use ammeter and voltmeter symbols without the arrow and stroke through them, and a symbol for a bulb that looks different from the symbol of a lamp?
