Re: tipa | Fonts for phonetic Symbols

Well, I do use MikTex 2.9. So how do I trigger the font I want? When I tried to type a command in the preamble that opens some font, it told me that TIPA is already open with another font. So how do I override it? I tried \renewcommand, but it still didn't work.

Re: tipa | Fonts for phonetic Symbols

No, I'm talking about the normal TIPA fonts, the ones found here.
I can't figure out how to install them due to the reasons explained above.

tipa | Fonts for phonetic Symbols

Hi all, I'm currently writing a work in phonology (linguistic) and I naturally have to use the tipa package to type phonetic symbols. Installing Modules

Hi,

I am trying to install the enumitem module. I installed it in the MikTex Package Manager, reconfigured LyX, closed LyX and then reopened it. It still says that I don't have enumitem installed. What am I doing wrong? Isn't it how you should install a module?

Thanks

It's working! Absolutely fantastic, thanks!

It's not such a vague question, what I meant to ask is exactly what you answered. But I think I'll take your suggestion to read the LyX introduction before I try things like this.

[..] if you actually mean you want to change the font of the text but also have effect on numbering etc., [..] Yes, that' what I meant. Where should I type the command you suggested? And how is it possible to adjust the font obtained by this command (i.e. choose a different family, series, etc.) Yo...

Change Fonts for particular Elements of a Document Topic is solved

Hi, I had some hard time managing fonts. How can I change the fonts of non-prime texts? By that I mean page numbering, equations and date. Additionaly, when I change my fonts I want the changes to persist. How can I set my preferences so that every document I open from now on will automatically have...
