Rotating a big text in a page.

Hello. I want to rotate by 180° a big text in a document, but everything on the page of the text is rotated, except the text. It is a problem. Here is a MWE: \documentclass[10pt]{article} \usepackage{boxedminipage} \usepackage[latin1]{inputenc} \usepackage{graphics} \begin{document} Dummy sentence. ...

Re: Giving source URL in Figure environment

Thanks for your example. I learnt something. However, I would want to define a field like caption and label. For example, I would like to be able to write \begin{figure}[f] \centering \parbox{0.75\linewidth}{% Any Text that you want above \ldots\\[\smallskipamount] \rule{\linewidth}{0.75\linewidth}\...

Giving source URL in Figure environment

Hello, We usually write \begin{figure} \includegraphics[...] \caption{A caption} \label{fig:label1} \end{figure} when putting a figure in a .tex document. It results in a ``caption'' field, displayed under or at the top of the figure. I would now like to put another field under / (at the top of) the...

Greek letters not in italic

Hello,

How can I manage to write greek letters so they do not appear in italic shape (e.g. in math. equations)?

It would be better to be able to use these commands outside of math mode, if possible.

Thanks.

Re: Using boxedminipage, but how can I put both txt and pict?

I think the pstricks code still can be done more elegant. I do agree with you, but I do not know PsTricks at the moment. It would be clearly better, and the difference would be significant. Anyway, whatever the method, as I have redefined a example environment, I have a problem when putting this be...

Re: Using boxedminipage, but how can I put both txt and pict?

Thanks. It worked. I gave such a NMWE because I was not able to find where my error was coming from.

Using boxedminipage, but how can I put both txt and pict?

Hello, I am using the boxedminipage package. Here is a MWE of what I am trying to do. \documentclass[10pt]{article} \usepackage[latin1]{inputenc} \usepackage{everyshi} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{graphicx} \usepackage[usenames,dvipsnames]{pstricks} \usepackage[dvipsnames]{xcolor} %\usepackage{e...
