Re: Shortened Chapter Title in Header

What about using a short form for the header entry by the optional argument of sectioning commands like \chapter ? \chapter[Short title for ToC entry or header]{Long title for the chapter heading as such} If that is not what you want please prepare a self-contained and minimal example to give an ade...

Re: Image in title page do not appear Topic is solved

You probably need to load the graphicx package.

Remarks:

  • Converted logo image to (real) EPS and PDF (see attachment).

Re: Left and right Part of CV Title too close

As I already said, this place is reserved for academic degrees. And a baccalauréat does not really number among. Hence you should leave the \title empty and list it in your education section. \PassOptionsToPackage{pdfpagelabels=false}{hyperref} \documentclass[11pt,a4paper]{moderncv} \moderncvtheme[b...

Just for information to other users for awareness of possibly already existing solutions. The question has also been posted to {TeX} SX . Please read what our administrator thinks about that . A crossposting is always contra-productive. But there is nothing really against it as long as it is mention...

Re: Left and right Part of CV Title too close

Being a student (étudiant) is not really a title as such and is misplaced where you want to have it. This is more intended for academic degrees like "BSc", "MSc", "Dr." or "Prof.". So I suggest that you place this inside a block called "Education" or...

Re: In-text Figures in APA Manual

APA format dictates that the floats go after the reference list and before any appendices. To override this feature, try adding floatsintext as an optional argument in the document class. […] At the time the question has been asked here — which is almost five(!) years ago — the apa6 class didn't ex...

Re: Embedding of Fonts in PDF Output

And you have already searched for e.g. "latex embed fonts". If I do, I get at least five useful hits (independently of the used search engine). Some more specific information about your document setup in form of a self-contained and minimal example could be helpful. Best regards and welcom...

Re: Makeindex arguments Topic is solved

Perhaps you need to use slashes (/) instead of backslashes (\) in the path specification (even on Wind0ws).
