Re: Title Page Templates

Here's a crude approximation of PageTitre.pdf: ... The frame made with the command \thisfancypage{\doublebox}{} is nice, but is there a way to make the inner frame thicker ? Also, how can I use some font (just for the title) that I have installed in my system, and which isn't part of the LaTeX dist...

Re: Title Page Templates

Take a look at the document » Some Examples of Title Pages «. Perhaps you find something appropriate. There are a few examples which are looking nice to my eyes : \titleAT, \titleGM, \titleTMB and \titleRB. However, I don't understand how to set up the codes to reproduce these examples on my comput...

Re: Title Page Templates

Here's what I try to do. This is the old title page I made using a word processor, a very long time ago. The font isn't right and that page needs to be redone in LaTeX.

How to do that ? Any idea ?

Title Page Templates

I want to produce a nice and fancy titlepage for my book, so I'm looking for templates. All I've found on the web are simple and horrible examples, except this one (which isn't fancy enough for me) : http://www.howtotex.com/images/titlepage-screen.png http://www.howtotex.com/templates/template-added...

Re: Sligthly larger parenthesis ?

This command is working. However, I'm not getting exactly what you have shown on the picture above: the new parenthesis aren't well centered on the default parenthesis. The new ones are slightly above (vertical offset).

Is there a way to make them perfectly aligned with the default parenthesis ?

Re: Sligthly larger parenthesis ?

It doesn't make any difference : I'm getting the same parenthesis as normal, or as "\big". I need something in between.

Sligthly larger parenthesis ?

I want to write something inside some parenthesis, but I'm having troubles with the parenthesis size. Of course, I tried the standard commands : \left( \right) , \big( \big) , \bigg( \bigg) , \Big( \Big , but the results aren't satisfying. More specifically, consider this example : f(x(t)) Currently...

Re: To align items in several equations

Maybe there's a better way to do my stuff (?) : I'm actually writing several tensor components, each one on a separate line. The code looks like this : \begin{alignat}{2} & T_{j\,=\,2}^{m\,=\,0} &&= blablabla, \\ \nonumber \\ & T_{j\,=\,2}^{m\,=\,\pm 1} &&= blablabla, \\ \non...
