Ok, I found it. I needed first create a project. Then open the file in this project (or copy its text). Now Ctrl-Space inside a \ref{} tag completes the reference automatically.

Unicode support
An alternative to TeXnicCenter that supports unicode is TexMaker. Although it lacks a lot of features, it is a simple and easy to use product.

Hi,
I know that unicode support is in the official feature list. I want to emphasize the importance of this feature for the non-english users.
TexnicCenter is the best Latex editor among all the editors I have used. I don't want to leave this environment for the lack of unicode support.
