Hey I'm planning to create a family tree similar to the Family Tree at TeXample but it is a horizontally expanding one.

I want to create a vertically expanding table. And also the spouse should exactly below the Parent/child/Grand child.

I'm new to this TikZ package.

How can I increase size of equation in a equation mode \begin{equation}

\end{equation}
The equations look very small. Is there a command or a package that I can use.

How do I add res.cls package to Kile? I use KUbuntu 11.10 with Kile and TeX Live.

I have the res class with me but I don't know how to install it. Someone please give me the detailed instructions to add it.

Kile doesn't get started and every time I try to start it shows up this window. It works fine when I open it as a root( but it is difficult to edit the files later) and also as a Guest9 bu logging out and signing in as a guest).

kile when initiated through terminal gives this output, which doesnt ...
