\v{S}verko in References unter "V", not "S".

Hi everyone,

among my references is an author called \v{S}verko. Now after compiling my document, that author appears in my References unter "V", not under "S". Das anyone know, how to solve that problem?
I couldn't find any help googleing or searching this site.
