alphalph package

Hello, I am writing a text with three sets of footnotes and using the alphalph package. Here is a MWE: \documentclass[11pt,b5paper]{book} \usepackage[ruled]{manyfoot} \newfootnote{A} % Note de l'auteur \newfootnote{B} % Note de l'editeur (complexe) \newfootnote{C} % Note de l'edi...

Miktex and fontspec Topic is solved

Hello, I am on Miktex 2.9, Windows 7 and am trying to get (new) hebrew fonts to work with polyglossia and fontspec. My pb looks very similar to that of Arieh ( http://latex.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=30122&p=101904&hilit=Arieh#p101904 ), except that he's on TexLive and Ubuntu. I used...

Re: list with no indentation on first line of item Topic is solved

Yes I need to produce a list of works, which are loosely connected to the main text. So there are no actual "references" in the text to the works in the list. So in a sense, it is simpler case of bibliography. Right now, my list is a real manual list, that is, I haven't made a .bbl file. (...

Re: list with no indentation on first line of item Topic is solved

Unfortunately I have no idea how to do it concretely. Maybe there is a bibliography package that does it. I can produce an (artificial) example like this: \documentclass[11pt,b5paper]{book} \begin{document} \noindent {\textbf{Bob and Alice Cryptos}}, {\it{An alien way of crypting the universe}}, Jou...

list with no indentation on first line of item Topic is solved

Hello, I would like to produce a list with the following requirements: 1) the first line of each item should have no indentation. 2) the subsequent lines of the item should all have the same (small) indentation. Of course I would like to avoid doing this by hand and (if possible) without getting int...

Re: Problem with babel, french Topic is solved

Ok I found the solution, as follows (hopefully maybe useful for someone else). And by the way, \usepackage[french]{babel} is sufficient (as it should -- since it worked like this previously). Once again I uninstalled babel (the basic babel) and reinstalled it, did the Miktex update. After I deleted ...
