I am using Latex to write my thesis. I used the Roman numerals page numbers for the first few pages (title, table of content, list of figures and tables and the abstract).

\pagenumbering{roman} %
\setcounter{page}{2}

and then, I used Arabic numerals page numbers for the rest of the ...

I found an error in compilation that prevent generating pdf automatically, that is why I need to press on the view PDF my self to show the pdf, I fixed the error, and I found that PDV now is updated automatically with the quick build.

Hi all,
I am using Texmaker 4.2 on Mac OSX10.9.3. The built in pdf view does not update after I press quick build button. I need to press view pdf button to see the update.
Any ideas

when I compile it twice, the table of content appears, but when I recompile it for the third time, the table of content disappear, and in all case the list of figures is not exist.
I have attached the log file after compilation #3, in which the table of content disappear.
