EDITED I could find Latex preamble in Cocument>Settings. I pasted it in and the I've a message tbat tbe europasslogo is missing. I suppose, it will be solved, but it is still wrong.

I saved http://wiki.lyx.org/uploads/Examples/CV/cv_JMarc.layout among layout-files in Lyx, but when I want to choose New from template I cannot find it. What can I do?

Thank you frabjous. It was a very simple document, I followed the basic tutorial wrote 1 line and wanted to see the result. We never will know the answer because I installed a new LyX and it works. Excuse me that I didn't deleted my message. Lyx is fantastic.

Hello, it is first time I try to use Lyx. When I klick on DVI, I get the message:

There has now been an attempt to load it with options
[latin9]
Adding the global options:
utf8x,latin9
to your \documentclass ...
