My system is MikTex, I have downloaded the latest one (MikTek 2.9) which came with pgf 2.1. I tried the code, it works or compiles fine. Thank you so much.

You right, it is the version of the pgf. Mine is 2.00. How can I update it or install the latest version, the one you are using ?
The error message during the execution is "!Package PGF Math error: Unknown function 'cosh'".

The pgf I have downloaded came with five folders (context, doc, generic,latex, plain). All of them does not have an executable. So How can I install this pgf? Could you please give me the procedure ?

Is there some one who can help me to draw the figures which are shown in attached file ? I am using Latex2e, working with Windows as operating system and Acrobat reader 9 for the pdf files.
I have read something about PGF and Tkiz but don't know how to install them.
