Stefan, after a long struggle, I viewed my pdf file but I did not see in my pdf file the table of contents and the list of tables. But when I introduced some corrections to my document, I did not get again the pdf file and when I try to compile again I can not because I can not touch any key in ...

I can't find it.
Stefan, what are the steps of compiling a document with this version of Texmaker.

the problem I didn't find also a log file. This is the first time I work with this version of Texmaker but I think the old versions are easier to manipulate.

I use texmaker 2.0 for windows, when I compile my thesis using toolbar: pdflatex view pdf, I don't get a file pdf for my thesis.
I use also: quick compilation view dvi, I get nothing.
I don't know where's the problem.
can you please help me. Many thanks in advance.
