In the meantime, I should say I 'hacked' the template by simply separting the Abstract page from the Impact Statement page with a \newpage, I added it to the Contents ...

Remove name and title from Abstract page
Hi, I can't seem to find an obvious way of removing the author name and thesis title from the Abstract page, any ideas on how I'd go about doing that? I'd like the Abstract to only have the abstract text in it.

How would I go about adding a new page to the initial set of pages at the beginning of the thesis, just after the Abstract? My university requires me to write an impact statement page, in addition to all the other pages that are already included in the template. Thank you!
