flushleft and hyphenation
If there was a code, with which I could do a few \hyphenations in the \flushleft-environment manually, I would be fine. Unfortunately, I am a few days before the deadline, so I don't have time to redo the whole catalogue.

Your remark about "my inappropriate coding", to which I fully agree, does not help at all. How should I code this with \paragraph or \minisec?

Thank you for your remarks on my preamble, which I am just putting to use. I could really use some help there, as I do not always know what I am doing, when I search for the solution of problems, as I am just a user, who reads the documentations but does not always fully understand them.

One of the problems can be seen on p. 11: With \RaggedRight, the program breaks pages after composers names and the numbers. In the example it is only one time, in the whole catalogue this is many times.

Okay, here it comes: It is probably too long for a minimal working example, but it is as short as I can get it to show the problems in the catalogue. Thank you for looking at it....
\documentclass[paper=a4, twocolumn, 10pt, headings=small ]{scrbook}
\usepackage[papersize={17.0cm, 24cm},left=2.0cm ...

Sorry, \Raggedright was a tipo, I did try \RaggedRight of package ragged2e. Thank you very much again for your tips. I will work on a minimal example and post it as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for your help. I have tried \raggedright, \Raggedright, \flushleft and \Flushleft. \flushleft is the only one that works for the layout, with the result, that there is no hyphenation at all. The problem is, that inducing hyphenation in a few places with \- will not work, either.

Hi,
I am working on an extended catalogue (currently 865 pp.) which I am trying to set twocolumn and left-aligned, because the publisher wants it this way. Foreword and other chapters are justified.
