I did as per your screenshot, but it didn't work at all. The master file structure is completely ignore.

It works only if i do the same thing with one of the chapters, but obviously i can't create a project for each chapter.

I just downloaded the latest version of texnic center and latest version of miktex.

I am writing my thesis and using a latex template made by someone else.
This template splits common stuff in a .cls file and each chapter in a .tex file, with a master file including all of them ...
