Here's my best ...

Remove Page Numbers from LoF and LoT
I have a Table of Contents, followed by List of Figures and List of Tables. I want to remove the dots and page numbering on the right from the LoF and LoT pages. I used the tocloft package to remove dots using

Re: Different author, same last name / surname, natbib
looking through it again, i can't see a way to affect how it's represented when citing the authors, even in the custom file.
so in the text it will only show the surname, but in the bibliography you can change how it is viewed. that's all i can manage.
and now it seems i wasn't able to help at all ...

Re: Different author, same last name / surname, natbib
also, do you get the hyphen in the bibliography treated as first name? When I use the hyphen with full first names it treats the second part as part of the surname.

Re: Different author, same last name / surname, natbib
if you make your own custom reference style you get the option to include initials.
just learning how to use this myself so no idea if it's possible to add an option within the package, sorry.
edit: and whilst it shows the initials, it still treats them separately, so you will see Chung, A. 2007a ...

Hi,
Been looking through google and the document but can't find the answers, it's about control of the way references are shown in the bibliography.
Firstly i want to reverse the names in the reference.
The default is:
A. Smith, and B Jones
but i want it to show:
Smith, A. and Jones, B.

Re: Harvard bibliography style
that kinda works for me
the only thing is that i already had a bibliography so have a few problems having to switch to harvard style.
edit:
only the first author's name is done correctly, (ie surname, initial) all the rest are initial, surname
secondly, how do you stop it thinking it's a name? say ...
