\[Q_O^D = 75 – 5 P_O + P_C + 2I\]

Overleaf gives command \textendash invalid in math mode on input line 34.

(34 is the line of this code in my file)

But it can still give my pdf. Why is this warning? What's the meaning? Should I just ignore it?

### How to align equation when it includes texts?

10. a. The inverse supply is \[P =\frac{Q^S}{10}\] whereas the inverse demand is \[P = 20 – \frac{1}{5}Q^D\] The graph is shown below.

I want that two = align. How to do this? I know how to do when there are no texts (by using \begin{align*} and &).

2nd: I want to add a letter 'z' below max U(z). How to do?

Many thanks in advance!

### How to debug this code?

Q1: I know where the problem is. | should be coded as \mid. What's the difference? I can also type | usually in TeXworks. Q2: Another problem is that yesterday you told me the tilde in LaTeX is an unbreakable space. Thus, I tried to use this idea in my code: multiple linear regression model $S_i = \...
