Hello!! I know this is an old post, I was also getting subscript.sty not found error. I am going to write how i fixed it,
1) You can download the file subscript.sty from https://ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/fragments .
2)Go to the folder C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Programs\MiKTeX ...
