While using the template Masters/Doctoral Thesis , I encountered an issue when I have unicode characters in the bibtex file. E.g. if I have an author name with a \'{i} it does work, but characters like \'{\i}, \u{i} or \v{o} don't: they produce an error which says "Inputenc error ...
