You are not even telling us what template you are using. mcode just prettifies your code, but you have to use listings like you would do with regular code snippets.

I have added mcode.sty file to the preamble section yet the matlab code using ls listing doesnt work can someone please share the exact steps to get this to work correctly or of another way by which i can put my matlab code in a overleaf latex document .
