Your LaTeX version is quite old and you should do an update. This shouldn't be unrelated to the error you get, though.
I discovered, that this error can appear when a not yet defined language is active, but i didn't see any trace in the log file. I already sent a fix to Vel and a new version ...

I did not change anything. I Complied in L(LaTeX) mode using WinEdt. I have a posted the full log-file here.
