PDF to Latex on Mac
Just a little pressed for time. I'm not quite sure if this is the best method for drawing (or if I should use a drawing program to see if that makes it faster). The following code took me an hour to do. I feel like I'm wasting too much time. The drawing is already there, in black and white PDF page ...

Parallel Curves (2-6 parallel curves)
Here's an example of a code I made. I went away from "double distance" to using "xshift" and "yshift" which seems to be providing what I'd like it to do. Based on this example, am I doing anything inefficiently? Please be patient with me, I just got started with latex a week ago. :)

PDF to Latex on Mac
I already have a book in pdf document that has graphs and texts (I believe made with coreldraw). I've read that there are ways to convert pdf to latex but not very effective. Even if it was a possibility, I'm not sure about how the graphs would turn out.

Parallel Curves (2-6 parallel curves)
So I have a quick noob question.
Using tikz, I'm trying to draw two parallel curves and for my purposes - double distance="x"cm - seemed to work. However, I need two different labels for this and I'm not sure how to do this.
For example, if supply shifts right, I want two parallel curves (not ...

Re: Hello from Canada
Great! So somewhere in the beginning of the book, I'll include a line or two referring to "latextemplates.com" and I should be good to go.
I'll come back as soon as i get stuck.
Thanks Stefan!

Hello from Canada
Hello,
My name is Dave. I'm thinking about using latex to write a 200 pages book.
I was wondering if I could use this template as my base: http://www.latextemplates.com/template/the-legrand-orange-book
Can I use it to make the book, publish, and sell it?
If so, I hope I can start asking ...
