Ah, I thought you were having trouble with your resume file based on that template, but anyways... That CV template is 3 years old and the last version of LyX completely overhauled the way it handles moderncv. Just look at View>Source>Complete Source and you see the problem.

I'd need to look at your file to see what's going on in the code with that section and your preamble. Can you post it (either in lyx file format or exported to LaTeX)? You can replace your real info in all the other sections with nonsense if you don't feel comfortable sharing it but keep the ...
