Keep getting error `.cls' not found. "Enter File name"

I have been using Latex for a while and all of a sudden an error is coming up when I try to compile any of my Latex stuff. This is the error that comes up:


! LaTeX Error: File `.cls' not found.

Type X to quit or <RETURN> to proceed,
or enter new name. (Default extension: cls)

Enter file name ...
