Thanks, I founded the origin of the crash, it could help: I replaced a dictionnary in , and that made ir crash. I remove the new dictionnary and every thing is OK now.

I'm new on this forum. I use TeXmaker since a long time with Ubuntu, now 12.04. I installed the last TeXmaker 4.1.1 and used it with no problem at all ... since today. As I try to open a file on which I work since weeks, TeXmaker just does not open. Only a white square and it disappears ...
