Hi,

I want to cite a surname with a prefix, like "van" or "de". How do I get Latex to do the following:

1. If the sentence where I cite the person starts with the person's name (e.g. Giorgio van Italia), I want Latex to start the sentence with upper-case V: "Van Italia (2014) wrote an interesting ...
