I have the same issue with a twist.
I changed my PATH from
/usr/texbin: ...
to
/Library/TeX/texbin: ...
And now all my styles (like Article (Standard Class)) is unavailable to me, and I can't even seem to export.

Re: Lyx not working with any \cite, or MMD cite
@StarValkyrie
Thanks! It works with \cite{Karl2012} inside a ERT box.

Re: LyX and Papers2 citekey problem
So. I solved the above problem by installing Papers3.
Now I have a new issue.
If i use Papers3 to insert e.g. [#Keramati:2014cq] then Lyx outputs it as text, and does not format it as a source. When i manually add the source, via. "Insert citation" - it works fine, as has a grey box around it ...

LyX and Papers2 citekey problem
Hello.
Recently I've been having trouble with the 'Insert Citekey' function from Papers2. For those of you who don't know Papers2, it's a neat way to keep your papers organized and easily accessible for citing. Except when it isn't working.

Re: Lyx awfully slow and unresponsive
I found a solution.
Lyx is out in a beta version 2.1 (beta 2).
You can download it here:
ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.1/lyx-2.1.0beta2/
and that helped alot. Its still not windows standards, but it sure did work.
best
Tobias

Lyx awfully slow and unresponsive
I've just aquired a new MBP through work.
I've been using Lyx for a year, but im new to the OSX platform.
My problem is that Lyx is awefully slow. Scrolling is a pain, and it seems to lock up the entire PC while opening a relatively small (10 p) lyx document. Its almost unusable.

Re: Major problem compiling to .pdf
And the plot thickens..
I manually added a "float" in the beginning of the document via Insert->Float-Figure, and added a random piece of graphics.
That works just fine, and now - when compiling - i dont get the same error messages, but Lyx just completely ignores every instance of ERT!

Major problem compiling to .pdf
But won't that be a problem when im using Lyx?
Should i convert it all to Tex, and then make the minimal package?
If anyone can confirm that the piece of code i pasted in, works with a picture of their choice, the problem must be with my lyx?
If i start a completely fresh lyx document, add ...
