Sorry stephan, I just had a total brain fart. What I meant was that I was looking for something user friendly like TeXnicCenter that is on windows. It has all those toolbars that really help when I can't think of the command for a certain symbol or character.

Thanks you guys. So there is no program called texlive? So TexShop is pretty much the best I can do as far as a GUI for osx? It seems so far inferior to something like MikTex for windows. What a bummer, almost makes me want to install parallels!

Can't figure out where Mactex installed Texlive
Hi everyone. I'm new to this and I was hoping someone could halp me out. I can't seem to figure out where Mactex installed texlive on my computer. I installed mactex from here http://tug.org/mactex/ but cannot find where it put texlive; it is not under applications/tex. The texlive utility is there ...
