Here's a .LyX file based off of the IEEEtran template that demonstrates my problem with the large gaps between coauthors in the biography section.

I posted the .pdf output and the section of my .LyX file that contains the biographies in a previous comment on this thread. I'm not sure what more you want me to post.

I added the TeX code \vfill after my last paragraph and it made it look okay. But there are still gaps that are a little larger than I would prefer. Is there a way to modify the separator environment?

Those are separator environments that I had to add in order to get each coauthor to have their own biography section. Without the separators, all of their biographies are lumped together and formatted as one biography. I am using the IEEEtran format for my document. And sorry about the previous post ...

I am having a similar problem with large gaps between paragraphs. I tried the \raggedbottom command in my preamble but the issue still persists. Specifically, the problem is with the biographies at the end of my paper (see attachment). I have also attached my lyx info. Any assistance you can provide ...
