Re: Have you seen writelatex.com ?

Hi Stefan,

Hope you're well! We've just released an upgrade to the Overleaf (writeLaTeX) editor, which has improved functionality on tablets, and I wondered if you could check to see whether this now allows you to use the arrow keys on your bluetooth keyboard?

Thanks!
John

Collaboration with Colleagues who don't use LaTeX

Have you considered using an online LaTeX editor such as writeLaTeX? ( https://www.writelatex.com )

I'm one of the developers, and we've found that the real time preview really helps new users get to grips with it more quickly, and in the first instance they could leave any complicated inputs (e.g ...

Re: Would you like to have tags for forum topics?

Hi Stefan,

I think this would be helpful in navigating the forum - whilst the current sectioning by categories is useful for finding certain answers, at other times I'm not always sure where is the best place to post/find a question.

A further suggestion along similar lines would be to make the ...

Re: Gantt chart from existing table ?

Hi mrdiny,

Would you be able to post an example of the type of table you're looking to convert to a gantt chart? That will make it easier to see exactly what you mean, and help us come up with an answer!

In general, the pgfgantt package is good for producing gantt charts, you could also take a ...

Re: Hello

Hi SuperNova,

Welcome to the community! I'm fairly new here myself, but also use LaTeX for maths and chemistry (plus physics). There's lots of great examples & help on this site, and any questions just ask :-)

Best regards,
John

Have you seen writelatex.com ?

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for the comments - we're working on better support for tablets, and you're right that having an install-free solution (that works well with peripherals such as bluetooth keyboards) is key on those types of devices.

This ties in with one of our main aims, which is to make ...

Re: Have you seen writelatex.com ?

Hi Tom,

Glad you like the site - I'm one of the co-developers and it's good to read such a positive post. Hopefully others will have had similarly good experinces with it, and we've just recently added links to forums such as this one so that users can get help from others more easily.

I agree ...
