The problems was not in latex, it was on dvi, sorry

Problems with \neq
Hi, I'm new in latex, and I've got some problems. When I try tu use "
\neq" or "\not =", after compiling I just have a "=" :/, I don't know what's happening. I hope someone can help me. I use Fedora 17 u.u
