Re: Vacuum Symbols

Thanks a lot Johannes_B and Stefan_K for spreading the word and providing examples! I appreciate it very much *thumps up* :)

@Stefan_K, if you could also provide a template for a turbomolecular pump, so i could work to modify it, that would be very nice :) :)

Vacuum Symbols

Hello there,

i would like to draw a vacuum schematic of a scientific apparatus (please see below for an example) and i would like to use Ti k Z in a electric ciruit manner.
Since i am not good in programming at all, I would like to ask you if it is possible to create a package with vacuum symbols ...

Re: Transverse Intensity Profile of a Laser Beam

@localghost
thanks, that looks very nice. that's exactly what i need.
using your code i get the gaussian profiles but not the image( :? doing something wrong): . An additional question: is there a possibilty to put axis boxes with some number around the image, for example as drawn in the image in ...

Re: Transverse Intensity Profile of a Laser Beam

@localghost

hi,

the picture is indeed not a secret, and it is attached in my first post (the black and white picture "traverse-int.JPG") and the fits i wanted is drawn with MS paint and they are supposed to be Gaussian and they should be placed in positions showed in that picture.

Now i have the ...

Re: Transverse Intensity Profile of a Laser Beam

@localghost
this looks really fantastic, thanks.

i have missed to say that i have the gaussian beam image done with a camera. i wanted to fit or put the bell-curve alongsides the image taken with the camera.

Transverse Intensity Profile of a Laser Beam

Hi everybody,

I'm curious, if there is a way to realize a laser beam profile and its Gauss fit in the manner sketched in the uploaded files.

Thanks in advance

Fit Parameters in Legend of Plot

Hi everyone,

I have a plot where I would like to add the fit parameters in the legend box, as shown in the attached JPG file. Having some trouble with line breaks and tables in the legend. Any other possibilities available with Ti k Z/PGF ?

Thanks in advance

Re: Inclusion of modified PDF

thanks localghost,

i have used this method previously and this is very nice for presentation slides. But if you have loads of spectra this method is not very efficient i.e. time consuming. Thats why i use the direct editing via foxit.
At the moment i do export the pdf edited to png or jpeg which ...
