M4 macrocompiler produces empty .pic files

Hi everyone,

I have installed m4 macrocompiler and circuit_macros library according to the manual. When I try to invoke
m4 -I C:\texmf pstricks.m4 libcct.m4 quick.m4 > quick.pic
m4 generates empty (0 bytes) file quick.pic in the same directory where quick.m4 actually is ( C:\texmf\tex\latex ...
