No DVI Output due to Windows API Error

I just installed TeXnicCenter and tried to compile a LaTeX document. It worked fine when I wanted a PDF, but when I tried to output it as a DVI, it gave the following problem report:

Message: Windows API error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
