Oops! Yeah, that's what I meant: \section{title} and \subsection{title}. The only reason that I'm using amsart is that I've only recently begun learning LaTeX and the book which taught me constantly made reference to amsart.
I'll have to try the titlesec package. Thanks.

Format Section and Subsection Headings
Are there any packages or option commands I can use to format section and subsection headings? I'd like the section headings to be bold and larger while I'd like the subsection headings on a seperate line than the text. Currently, my document typesets like so:
Section [in center]
Subsection text ...
Section [in center]
Subsection text ...

Index Page Number
Why is it that. when I typeset my document, the page number on the last page, which is also the index page, is at the bottom in the center? On all other pages, the page number alternates left-right, left-right. How can I fix the index page number? I'm using the document class of amsart.

Using Calibri Front
How do I make some or all of my document in calibri font? Is there any package I can download which will let me do that? I'm using amsart as the document class with TexShop as the editor.
