Hi Stefan,
Yes, I did. Biblatex works for me when I change it to bibtex8 but not with biber (changing it in three places: document setting, the preamble and tools->preferences->output->latex).

Re: Error running latex
How do I add that option? I only run bibtex on the files through miktex, and I have no option to run biber there. I'm not sure what you mean by that, I guess I just don't know latex well enough.

Error running latex
Thank you for your help. I uninstalled all of MikTex since it wasn't updating packages well, deleted all the files it left behind, reinstalled it and updated all the packages. I then found out that they updated biblatex and some of my field weren't correctly formatted. So corrected this. Finally, my ...

Error running latex
Hi,
I've updated a bunch of packages and ever since then none of my files would compile. They all bring the same error message:

Re: problem running latex
I found the problem - it is generated when I use the latest update of the package biblatex, which is 1.7. When I use the older version (which is hard to come by!), which i 1.5, I get no problem. Do you have any idea what I should do about it?

Re: problem running latex
Thanks very much, that is the cause of the problem. However, I can't seem to update it - I've tried to reinstall it and even to uninstall it and then install it and nothing work. I've used MikTex package manager. Is there any other way I can do it?

Re: problem running latex
I understand - but nowhere do I have this. In fact, even my template file - which has nothing other than installations of packages etc., gives the same error message.
