Thanks for your answer. I would make my own bibliography but I don't have a clue how to do it on TexnicCenter, and don't know how to use terminal or bring it up on windows machine. Any ideas?

I am currently using bibliography style "ieeetr" to do all my references, because I like the order in which it displays the references, i.e the order they appear in the text, rather than alphabetical. I also like that it lists them as [1], [2] etc rather than putting names and dates in the main ...
