thanks a lot,
I never saw the necessity to proceed from bibtex to biber, it was not so hard in the end !

The details are not so important (but would be nice to know if someone got the knowledge...!?), as long as it works.

to update everything in your document delete all auxiliary files (as .aux, .bbl, etc.) and tex your document again (depending on your distribution and the complexity of your document 1-3 times...).

Did you bibtex the .aux file? And afterwards tex the main file again...
