Thanks for your suggestion and noticing the teTeX reference in the log file! I found that directory but couldn't figure out how to delete it (when I tried rmdir teTeX/ it said "permission denied" and I am NOT very UNIX savvy!), but when I moved both my Beamer/ directory and the pgf2.00 ...
