Page number specification from top of the page?

Hi:

I am using 'cheputhesis.cls' file for my dissertation available at https://engineering.purdue.edu/~mark/puthesis/ . I want the page numbers to be 0.5 inch from the top of the page on the right side. How do I specify this?
