Here are three files in .7z format: the source file, the latex log and the file log

I have latex-ed the document in a command prompt and this seemed to go through without any problems, but when I try and open the DVI file I get the same error message from Yap:

The following error message appears when trying to execute Latex to DVI on Techniccenter.

The MikTex yap.exe in my Techniccenter does not produce any DVI, only an error message (I have no problems with PDF). I have tried to remedy this problem by reinstalling both MikTex and TechnicCenter but this doesn't remedy the problem. Any suggestions to get DVI working again? Any ideas about the ...
