Text on odd, figures on even

I need a whizz to help me please..

I'm trying to construct a document with text lying only on odd pages and figures lying only on even pages.

I have thought about inserting blank floats but my document (thesis) is pretty big so it would take an age and also mean a lot of work if I have to go back ...
