Hi Tim,
Are you familiar with the memoir class by Peter Wilson? It's an extension of the standard book class and has all you need to make a professional looking book. It's not a ready made template though, but the documentation is excellent and has lots of examples that you can tweak.

Hi to you all,
I am writing a college math textbook using the memoir class. As with all textbooks there are lots of exercises scattered throughout, with solutions in the back. I want LaTeX to handle this for me, and I want to be able to write something like this:
