When I start a new project and do View DVI it shows me a list of errors from an old project. It does this even if the new project is empty. I re-installed LyX and it still does it.

Printing help files
I am experienced in Latex but new to LyX.
My grievance is I seem unable to print the help files. When I hit the print icon it asks me what printer. Why does it ask that? I have a default printer and I don't know how else to identify it.
