Set page numbering of the TOC

Hi, I want to set the page numbering for my toc as ROMAN and use ARABIC for the rest of the document, starting from 1 after the toc , but I can't happen to be able to do so.

What I do is this :


\documentclass[a4paper,titlepage]{report}
% define the title
\author{Marcello Maggioni}
\title ...
