I had tried WinEdt before I installed TexnicCenter.
Now I am using TeXnicCenter, it is free, and I like the IDE.
But one thing, seems that TeXnicCenter will not backup the tex file I am working on (WinEdt will back the tex file). When I copy tex files to my usb disk, or synchronize my working ...
