Table Lines Spacing and Column Lines

Hi Community!

I've searched the forum for any answers to this but haven't found one. Is there a way to add additional space in specific rows without interrupting column lines?

For instance, the attached images that show what I would like (the first attachment using a table in Word with additional ...

Re: Row color error

Sorry for the long wait in my reply. No, I don't believe I found a solution for this. I think we ended up bolding the left column entry to indicate the rows which would have been highlighted.

Re: using psfrag...

Thanks, Thorsten.

I believe my colleague will just be avoiding the use of psfrag, for now, then.

using psfrag...

Hi All,

My colleague is having trouble creating a PDF using psfrag for his images. I've had no trouble and already gave him tips on using the DVI and PS files to help make the PDF, but he's run across an error. I'm a little stumped as to what went wrong. Any feedback or advice would be most welcome ...

Row color error

Hi All,

So I was creating a table where the contents of the column are aligned by their decimals and then I wanted to highlight a row. Unfortunately, when I "highlight" with the \rowcolor option, I end up losing a part of the entry.

Attached is a screen capture of what happened (the left "0" ends ...

Re: Error message

Thanks, Frabjous!

I forgot to ask him how exactly he was compiling, assuming he was doing the same thing as I was.

I did manage to get it to work when I changed images that were originally in a .pdf format to .eps (so all images were in .eps format).

Just a question, in general, when including ...

Error message

Hi All,

A colleague of mine was compiling a document where .eps files are used in conjunction with psfrag and got an error message. We were wondering what exactly went wrong since when I compile these images separately (from the rest of the article), it works fine. Any feedback or suggestions would ...

Re: Changing Font Type Within Tables

Thanks, Skazz! It works wonderfully.

I was also wondering if there was a way to do this without having to define a new environment--maybe a similar way in how we can change line spacing in the itemize environment using the enumitem package.

Changing Font Type Within Tables

Hi All,

I was wondering if there was a way to change the Font type within the table environments. For instance, I just wish to change text and data within tables to a Courier New font. Is there a way I can do this with a global command?

Any feedback would be most appreciated, thanks!
